It is not often a school day's life that you are offered the opportunity to watch and then take part in the Unesco World Heritage Human Towers event in celebration of Catalan Week here in Singapore. But that is what happened today here at Chatsworth. Thanks to the Mr David Miró and Victoria de Kerdrel parents of Sophia in Year 4 and William in Year 6, who organised a group of around 40 members to illustrate the human tower. It was quite an event that was enjoyed by the whole school.
Back in the classroom, the children reflected on what they saw, and even the youngest of students were touched by the event!
