Perspecives from the PYP Coordinator

4 December
As the holiday break creeps upon us, we have so many exciting things to be celebrate before we finish this semester!

Today we were visited by Santa in our classrooms who passed out special treats and a friendly Ho, Ho, Ho! In the afternoon, the House Captains and Class Representatives planned activities and the assembly for the entire Primary. Check out the photos below from both of these events.

On Thursday, 10 December, we have our shared lunches and our end of semester holiday parties.  I hope to see lots of parents joining in the fun on this day.

Friday, 11 December is the last day of school for the semester, and we will be presenting Our Learning Journey Concert. It will be held at the Anglo Chinese School Mrs. Lee Chuan Kong Auditorium on Barker Road beginning at 10:30. Students must go to and from school with their teachers on the bus. When we return to campus.  Students can leave and reports will be given to go home with them.  Buses will arrive at school to pick up students at 12:30 and depart at 12:45.

At this time of year, there are so many things going on, people can become stressed and tired. Remember to follow our learning principles to understand, appreciate and respect the differences of one another.

  • ECA end of Session 1 Parent Survey
This survey is to help us improve the quality of our External Curricular Activities (ECAs) conducted by external providers to meet our students’ needs. If your child has participated to our ECA Programme, kindly complete the survey form by Friday 4th December 2015 and help us make these activities more meaningful for the students of Chatsworth, Orchard. For the school to analyse the survey and gather more accurate data, we would require parents to complete one survey for each child (e.g. one child in Little League, one child in Yoga and Theatre).
