Thoughts from the Chatsworth Primary Hallway

“To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.

(From an introductory speech at a session of the Académie Française, December 24, 1896)”

Celebrating achievements is an important part of school life. This week marked the first of such celebrations as you met with your child's teacher to share in the successes of your child's 2014-2015 school year so far.  Parent Teacher Student Conferences are an important event for your child as it gives him/her the opportunity to share with you their strengths and together we can work on goals for further improvement.

Also this week, we celebrated the Ancient Hindu festival, Diwali, otherwise known as the Festival of Lights.  The Diwali committee, together with the help of the Chatsworth Parent Group, organized a grand celebration. This celebration included preparation of the materials for the making of Rangoli at home, making beautiful Rangoli around the school and a wonderful assembly celebration of the event.  What a great week of celebrations our students have experienced! Thank you for your contribution to the Chatsworth International School community celebrations.
