United Nations Day

13 October

UN Day marks the anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter. With the ratification of this founding document by the majority of its signatories, including the five permanent members of the Security Council, the United Nations officially came into being.

At Chatsworth, we live the international day theme of the United Nations, every day. Our students, parents and staff literally come from all over the world and on this day, we get to celebrate our home countries. For many of our students, they may have heritage in more than one country. On this day, you will see them show all those heritages at one.

Our Expected Schoolwide Learning Results (ESLRs) highlight the trait of being global communicators.  As you look at the photos below, you are able to see this aspect of our international community.

Thank you to all the students, parents and teachers for a fabulous day of celebrations!

Happy October Break!
