Learning Journey Concert

1 December 2017

Fantastic! Incredible! Amazing! Knowledgeable! Extraordinary! Tremendous! Remarkable! Impressive! Outstanding!

These are only a few of the words that come to mind when you think of the students’ performances at this years’ Learning Journey Concert.  Every year, I am amazed and inspired by the students’ work and diligence during the practices and in the final performance.  At school, we watch our students researching, exploring and becoming excellent inquirers all the time. But once a year, they use those inquiry skills and then they transform their knowledge into some type of masterful presentation.  The teachers use this unit to focus on performing skills and I think we can comfortably say that all the students deserve huge congratulations for their creative elements and wonderful performances. As Dr. Berry noted in his closing, the students made us all incredibly proud!

Teachers, we cannot thank you enough for the incredible job you do every day supporting their learning and allowing them the freedom to explore personal interests. You truly found remarkable ways to develop their learning and allow them to showcase it so brilliantly. Parents, thank you for attending the concert, supporting your children while they practiced and making sure everyone had magnificent costumes. It was a wonderful way for our community to celebrate the learning that goes on here at Chatsworth every day!
